In addition to our collaborative efforts to create a more sustainable food system, we also help individual companies to develop sustainability strategies, conduct research and assist with implementing changes in sourcing that impact farmer livelihoods and the environment worldwide and often set the groundwork for wider collaborations. Our staff utilize their deep knowledge of global food chains and networks as well as draw on scientifically based measurement tools to ensure our efforts are impactful. We work food companies that are leaders in sustainable sourcing as well as companies taking the leap into sustainability practices for the first time. Our expertise spans both smallholder farming systems such as cocoa, coffee and vanilla as well as large scale systems such as corn, soybean and wheat production.
Often projects that start with one company, grow into sector-wide or regional efforts to change markets and shift overall industry standards.
