Carbon, Climate and Coffee

Learn how Cooperative Coffees, with the help of project partners, is implementing the Cool Farm Tool with coffee-farmer cooperatives in Peru, Honduras and Guatemala. Their pilot project aims to:
- assess net carbon sequestration in coffee farmer fields;
- illustrate how coffee, when organically cultivated as an agroforestry system, can function as a climate change solution; and,
- encourage collaboration in the face of our collective “climate crisis” across the coffee supply chain.
During the webinar, you can expect to meet the project team, hear from coffee-farmer cooperative leaders and get a sampling of the innovative field practices they’re implementing to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change.
